Beschreibung
The European Union has introduced a new customs system for safety and security. This will be mandatory for seafreight from mid-2024. It is based on a comprehensive freight information system for goods pre - notification.
The data for all goods that are shipped to the EU, Switzerland, Norway or Northern Ireland are recorded before the goods arrive and reported to ICS2 via the Entry Summary Declaration (ENS).
